Growing up!

Growing up and trying to figure out what you're going to do with your life is stressful sometimes. All I can do is pray for peace and knowledge. It seems like here lately I have been doing a lot of praying. But it is helping me get through my days one at a time.

It's hard to make a move or make a decision when you're afraid to fail or afraid your going to disappoint people in your life. But I am trying my hardest not to let other people's opinions take a rule over me. I am taking my time in thing's that I do so I won't fail myself. In the end all the matters is who I am to myself. 
I know I am going to fail because it's part of life but the reason why I am afraid to fail is because I am afraid I will disappoint people in my life. And I HATE disappointing people or letting them down. 

Everyone has their own opinions and even though you might not like their opinion you should respect it. But there are some opinions that should be kept to yourself and not be said to others. This is a lesson I am trying to learn myself. It is a hard lesson to learn but it is a good lesson to learn quickly. Sharing your opinion can be good sometime's and then other times it could really hurt someone. All I have to say is, don't let other people's opinions rule over you. You are your own person. So don't be afraid of what someone might think of you because you failed at something just remember that you have more people with you then you have against you. 

A very wise man shared this with me: 

"Just remember that unless you take a step in any direction you will never go anywhere. You might start off in the wrong direction but God will direct your steps and get you going in the right direction, but first you must move your feet or take action. Every journey starts with one step. Sometimes we try to wait for a clear message from God before we do anything and that is wrong. He could be telling us all the time but if we don't act or do something there will be nothing to bless. (see duet 28, proverbs 12:11, 14:23, 18:9.) There are many more. Just make a choice sweetie. God is a God of action." "Show me a person that has never failed at anything and I will show you someone who has never done anything. All the disciples failed Jesus and look what they got done. Failure at something shows us how to do it right the next time or the next time or the next time."

That very wise man is my Grandpa. He will always be with me and on my side.

I know sometimes life gets tough and sometimes you feel like you can't make it but I know that I will always make it day by day!
